We present the Arai Concept-X, the helmet that evokes the simple yet aggressive style of that era, born from the heart of Arai’s R&D department.
Arai’s technicians have managed to maintain a personal and aggressive look, combining it with the latest Arai technological innovations.
The brutal simplicity of the Concept-X is only on the surface, so do not be misled. Even though the vintage style might deceive you, the helmet meets and exceeds Arai’s internal standards.
Beneath the aggressive look, you will find an extremely strong and lightweight PB e-cLc shell, with a shape that is as smooth and round as possible, further reinforced with Arai’s patented Peripheral Belt, a solution that allows the helmet to deflect impact energy without getting snagged on obstacles. The VAS-VC visor system, with its retro look, further improves the ability to deflect energy by making the shell even smoother and stronger, even in areas where no homologation tests are required.
Although it nods to the past, the Concept-X is an extremely current helmet, ready for a generation of modern motorcyclists looking for a helmet full of personality, with the performance and comfort that only Arai can offer.
Arai Concept-X Ventilation
The Concept-X outer shell hides a secret: Arai’s integrated ventilation system. Fresh air enters through the vents mounted on the visor and is directed through internal channels toward the extraction holes at the back of the helmet, thanks to the low pressure induced by the Venturi effect created by the side vents.
