SHARK anti-fog Pinlock

Pinlock is an anti-fog system for Shark helmet visors; here is how it works, explained simply:

🔍 What it is

It is a transparent inner lens that attaches to the inside of a compatible visor (equipped with two side pins).

❄️ How it prevents fogging

• The Pinlock lens creates an air chamber between the visor and the lens

• This chamber acts as a thermal insulator

• The lens is made of a hydrophilic material that absorbs moisture
  👉 Result: no condensation, even in cold, rain, or heavy breathing conditions

🔧 How to install it

1. The visor has two adjustable pins

2. The Pinlock is inserted under slight tension

3. It must adhere perfectly to the visor (no gaps)

• Always clear visibility

• No anti-fog spray needed

• Works even at low temperatures

• It is removable and replaceable

⚠️ Caution

• Works only on compatible visors

• Do not clean with harsh products

• If installed incorrectly, air can enter and reduce effectiveness

💡 Practical shop tip:
always check the pin tension, because if they are adjusted poorly, it is the primary reason why a Pinlock “doesn't work.”
