AIROH anti-fog Pinlock

Pinlock is an anti-fog system for Airoh helmet visors; here is how it works, simply:

🔍 What it is

It is a transparent inner lens that is applied to the inside of a prepared visor (with two side pins).

❄️ How it prevents fogging

• The Pinlock lens creates an air chamber between the visor and the lens

• This chamber acts as a thermal insulator

• The lens is made of a hydrophilic material that absorbs moisture
  👉 Result: no condensation, even in the cold, rain, or with heavy breathing

🔧 How to install it

1. The visor has two adjustable pins

2. The Pinlock is inserted slightly under tension

3. It must adhere perfectly to the visor (with no gaps)

✅ Advantages

• Always clear visibility

• No need for anti-fog spray

• Works even at low temperatures

• It is removable and replaceable

⚠️ Caution

• Works only on prepared visors

• Do not clean with aggressive products

• If installed incorrectly, air may enter and it will lose effectiveness

💡 Practical shop tip:
always check the pin tension, because if adjusted incorrectly, they are the number one cause of a Pinlock that "doesn't work".
